Macromedia Director is a full-featured multimedia authoring tool designed to help you build and distribute your own multimedia presentations for CD-ROMs, DVD-ROMs, and the Internet. Combining tools for graphics, sound, animation, text, and video content, Director allows you to integrate your content into a single file and then export it as a variety of different file types, including the popular Shockwave format.
